Staylor Timberframe   specialises in bespoke, energy efficient timber frame buildings. We work with customers to design buildings to be as energy efficient as possible, with U values all the way down to passive house standards where required. We are here to help every step of the way, to create an energy efficient, comfortable homes for you to enjoy over the lifetime of the building.

Our ethos is that an investment in improved insulation in the timber frame, pays back many times over, over the life time of the building. This gives our customers more comfortable homes, with greatly reduced heating & cooling loads, thereby reducing ongoing running costs, reducing the need to install expensive heating systems, which probably cost more than the additional insulation & continue to cost you more, going up every year of the building lifespan.

These benefits can be achieved by incorporating passive solar principles at the design stage, upgraded insulation & air tight construction in the build itself, combined with renewable technologies & mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems in the final construction. To help incorporate the MVHR into customers new homes at design stage, we are now BPEC approved to design & install ventilation systems in our kits, reducing companies you need to deal with & giving us the ability to reduce clashes in the building structure when we come to install them on site.
